Best stuff of 2023

It's March 1st and it's a good time to reflect on the previous year. Lots of things happened, so I'll put a short summary even if I'm 2 months late.

Work

I'm working with Clojure full time for a 3rd year in a row. It's joy.

Studies

Finally got to finish my Master's program, wrote my thesis, and developed a relatively large web application for it.

Projects

I've built the Lily58 keyboard, but didn't use it at that time. It took me more than half a year before I started using it on a day to day basis. I'll come back to that with dedicated posts.

Books

I've read a number of books but the The Three-Body Problem was the one that really stood out. I was thinking about it constantly and was seeing it in my nightmares.

Music

Listened to various things but nothing comes to my mind right now.

Movies

I'm a fan of John Wick movies, and the 4th one was my favorite.

We don't get, as wikipedia says:

Japanese animated coming-of-age fantasy adventure film

in cinemas very often. So I had to go and watch Suzume. I highly enjoyed it.

Self-published books

I self-published my 2nd book. It's in Greek and at the moment it exists only in physical i.e. printed, format. Call me! There are about 75 copies left.

Plans for this year

Write 10 blog posts.

I'm writting lots of blog notes and even entire posts but rarely publish them for a variety of boring reasons. This year I'll try to change that and see how that goes.

That's it. See you on the next one!
